AM: May 25, 2019

It’s been out for a few weeks now, but I haven’t mentioned how amazing Avengers Endgame was. So much great stuff in one movie–it was too much to take in.

So even if you’re not an Avengers fan, you probably at least know about Spiderman. The thing about Spiderman that most people forget about is that he starts out as a teenager joining in to this fight. Because of it, he is completely in awe of the other Avengers, yes, especially Ironman.

In the middle of the other Avengers saying they are the best, or the most important Avenger, you have Spiderman… just happy to be there and just happy to help out. I had a friend once who told me everyone loves Spiderman because of that–he’s more like us–just a guy who gets to go be a superhero. And because of it he humble about it. That’s what makes him stand out from the others.

Be the guy who’s just happy to be there and who steps up and helps. Even if you’re not the one getting the recognition–God knows your heart.

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

Dear Lord, Help me to stay humble and be ready to do what’s right, and help those who need it, even if I don’t get anything out of it. Help me to focus on other people today. Amen.
