Pentecost is a day that should give us hope, and awe. The Holy Spirit is divine–and God sent it to live in us. That’s amazing, isn’t it?

When the Holy Spirit came to the apostles, it gives us hope. The early Christians had a difficult time, and Pentecost is a great moment to show the power of God, and how that power has been given to us to share with people.
Here’s the knowledge you need: you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. And you will be My witnesses, first here in Jerusalem, then beyond to Judea and Samaria, and finally to the farthest places on earth.
Acts 1:8 (VOICE)
If you have chosen God, believe in him and asked for forgiveness–when you become a believer, you receive power to do God’s work and spread his work. That’s pretty amazing. Think about that tomorrow in church and anytime you think of the Holy Spirit.
Dear Lord, thank you for sending the Holy Spirit to guide and empower your children. Teach me how to spread your word. Amen.
