Fun fact for the day: Mosquitoes are attracted by smelly feet… gross. In fact, they are drawn to lactic acid (in sweat) and carbon dioxide, which is what we breathe out. And they are more active during full moons. But besides citronella, you’ll never guess what smell will hide a person’s smell… chocolate. So when you sit outside on the porch, just tell your mom you need some chocolate ice cream.

Mosquitoes are small and annoying, but they can be deadly in some areas of the world. Think about how something so small can make such an impact. That’s the same way it is with sin–it may not start out a big deal, but small sins are still sins. Of course we all sin, but when you realize it, make sure and own up to it to your parents and to God, and ask forgiveness. AND ALSO, try and do better the next time–learn from mistakes.

If we say that we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and refusing to accept the truth.

1 John 1:8 (TLB)

Dear Lord, You are all-knowing, and you know my heart. Forgive me for any sins you see in me. Give me strength to do better tomorrow. Amen.
