Each star is known by the Creator, and each one of us is known by Him too. It’s pretty amazing to think that God knows all of us, not just by name, but even to how many hairs are on our head. He knows what makes us happy, and He knows what makes us sad, ashamed or fearful. Remember to tell him those things, because God is close to your heart and HE KNOWS YOU, inside and out.

Lord, you have examined me
    and know all about me.
² You know when I sit down and when I get up.
    You know my thoughts before I think them.
³ You know where I go and where I lie down.
    You know everything I do.
⁴ Lord, even before I say a word,
    you already know it.
⁵ You are all around me—in front and in back—
    and have put your hand on me.
⁶ Your knowledge is amazing to me;
    it is more than I can understand.
Psalm 139:1-6

Dear Lord, Thank you for loving me and for knowing everything about me. Help me to come to you when I’m scared, or when I’ve made mistakes and need forgiveness. Help me to remember that you know me so well, and that you love me still. Amen.
