Happy Sunday! Make sure to set time apart to worship our Lord today.
Today is National Chocolate Chip Cookie day. Fun facts about CCC’s: they were invented by accident when Ruth Wakefield ran out of baker’s chocolate–she added bits of chocolate instead, thinking they would melt, and created the CCC. She owned the Tollhouse Inn, which is where the Nestle Tollhouse name comes from.
Ruth Wakefield didn’t plan on creating a huge new thing, she had to make an adjustment and tried something new. Sometimes we have to make adjustments in our day, the challenge is to accept them as exactly that–a challenge. Not a problem, not something irritating–an opportunity to try something new, or learn to make adjustments. We can’t be so centered on ourselves or these small daily things can become big huge problems. Make an adjustment, and move forwards.
Fill us with your love every morning.
Psalm 90:14 (ERV)
Let us be happy and enjoy our lives.
Dear Lord, Forgive me for the times I make everything about me. Help me to not let the little things in life ruin my attitude, but help me to keep going forwards. Amen.
