Do you ever say “I trust my bike to not fall apart while I’m riding it” or “I trust my mom has food in the fridge today”? No, that’d be weird, right? We don’t talk that way. But we use that word when talking about God all the time, and maybe we don’t stop and think about trust.
You trust your friends to stick by you. You trust your parents to take care of you. And you trust God to do… what? What do we trust God for?

Trust God to keep his promises. In the Bible, God promises you salvation, he promises you to give you power, he promises to always be with you, he promises to have a place for you in heaven, he promises to LOVE you no matter what, and he promises to have a plan for your life because he knows you like nobody else can.
That’s a lot of good trust.
Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
Proverbs 3:5-6 (MSG)
don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he’s the one who will keep you on track.
Dear Lord, Thank you for being so good to me. I trust you with my life. Teach me to learn how to trust you in every situation. Amen.
